Any book chapters, short stories, poems, novels and other forms of creative writing or creative content which you choose to upload to the site or submit to AnAuthorsWay.com for Proofreading or Kindle Formatting remains your exclusive copyright. You are entitled to submit your creative work to Literary Agencies, Publishing Houses or enter into agreements with whom you wish with regard to your creative work and your creative writing ideas. You retain all rights to your work.

2. Your Registration Details

The registration information we receive from members is held in the strictest of confidence. It will only be used in order to contact you regarding payment for our services, or in the event a Literary Agent, Publishing House or other relevant Third Party wishes to contact you regarding your creative work. We comply with the Data Protection Act and treat your information in strict confidence. Your details will remain with AnAuthorsWay.com and will not be divulged to any Third Party without the member’s written consent.

3. Your Account

If you choose to use the website, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and password and for restricting access to your computer to prevent unauthorised access to your account. You agree to accept responsibility for all actions taken under that User ID and password and shall only use or access the website using your own User ID and password. You should take all necessary steps to ensure your password is kept confidential and secure and should not disclose it to any other person. You should inform us immediately if you have any reason to believe that your password has become known to anyone else, or if your account or password is being used or is likely to be used in an unauthorised manner.

7. Submissions

Whilst AnAuthorsWay.com accept any genre and any style of writing, we will not accept any creative work that falls under the following categories:

Submissions that are clearly of an Obscene or Pornographic nature
Submissions that are clearly of racist or discriminatory nature
Any work that implies sexual discrimination
Creative work written specifically to cause religious hatred or incitement to violence
Any other creative work deemed offensive, inappropriate or written with the intent to cause upset.

AnAuthorsWay.com recognises that some creative work can contain the above examples. If this is the case, AnAuthorsWay.com respectfully asks that the work be written in a tasteful manner and not just to shock or offend.

8.Your Information

Definition “Your Information” is defined as any information you provide to us or other users in relation to the AnAuthorsWay.com site and service including the registration, review process, your forum postings and any other content that you post on the Site other than your Creative Work. You retain all copyright and all other rights to your Creative Work. 8. Comments and Feedback

AnAuthorsWay.com encourages comments and feedback from all visitors but only those made in a constructive manner. Comments that are helpful, insightful or encourages are continually welcome, however those of a derogative, deliberately insulting or offensive manner will not be published. All comments are monitored before they are published.

9. AnAuthorsWay.com Forum Usage Policies

The public chat, discussion and help boards on AnAuthorsWay.com can be informative, helpful and entertaining.

10. Payment For Services

AnAuthorsWay.com.com accepts payment for services provided by PayPal only. We do not accept cheque, credit card, debit card or direct bank transfers or any other type of transaction for payments of services and will never ask for any card or bank details. Should a member receive an email requesting such details, the member agrees to contact us, by email, immediately upon receipt of the request. AnAuthorsWay.com.com will accept no responsibility for any financial loss should a member act on a request for card or bank details prior to contacting us. AnAuthorsWay.com uses an invoice system to request payment. Users of AnAuthorsWay.com services will be invoiced in the following manner:

Write and review – Chapters uploaded by the author and AnAuthorsWay.com will invoice within seven days
Proofreading – Author will submit the entire manuscript by email. Once proofreading has been completed, an invoice shall be issued. Once payment via Paypal has been received, the proofread manuscript will be emailed back to the author
Kindle Formatting – Author will submit the entire manuscript by email. Once proofreading has been completed, an invoice shall be issued. Once payment via Paypal has been received, the proofread manuscript will be emailed back to the author
Short Stories and Poetry – author will submit first story and invoice will be issued within seven days. Authors of Short Stories and Poetry will then be permitted to upload unlimited stories for a period of 12 months.

Members will be required to register with AnAuthorsWay.com FOR ANY SERVICE AnAuthorsWay.com provide.

All invoices are to be paid within seven days of receipt. AnAuthorsWay.com will remind an author that payment is due. Failure to make payment for service will result in work being removed from AnAuthorsWay.com.com or Proofread / Kindle Formatted manuscripts not being returned.

11. Member Warranty

You represent and warrant that you own or otherwise control all of the rights to the content that you upload or post; and that, at the time that your content or material is submitted to AnAuthorsWay.com .com: (i) the content and material is accurate; (ii) use of the content and material you provide does not breach any applicable AnAuthorsWay.com.com.com.com policies or guidelines and will not cause injury to any person or entity (including that the content or material is not defamatory). You agree to indemnify AnAuthorsWay.com for all claims brought by a third party against AnAuthorsWay.com arising out of or in connection with a breach by you of others copyright or a breach of any of these warranties. You grant AnAuthorsWay.com the right to help publicise you and the site through your writing, and to display your writing on the site.

12. Correspondence with AnAuthorsWay.com
Visitors and members should not submit, post, or send any submissions of a creative nature other than the creative submissions currently allowed on the site – which are up to three chapters of a novel, poetry, novellas and short stories. The creative submissions allowed on the site may only be submitted to the site in the upload formats permitted on the site. If you send us any other unsolicited submissions in any other format – either by submitting them to any part of the site, posting them by mail, or forwarding them to us by any other means, we take no responsibility for, and have no liability in respect of the unsolicited submission in part or in whole, and reserve the right to remove unsolicited items. If you send us unsolicited submissions you release AnAuthorsWay.com .com from any claims that can be made in respect of your unsolicited submissions.

13. Proofreading and Kindle Formatting
By signing up to AnAuthorsWay.com Proofreading Service or AnAuthorsWay.com Kindle Formatting Service members will agree to submit the entire novel to the appropriate email address. Members will receive an invoice once the Proofreading or Kindle Formatting has been completed and members agree to pay the relevant cost of this service prior to the completed manuscript being returned

14. Age Conditions
If you are under 18, you may use AnAuthorsWay.com only with the involvement of a parent or guardian. AnAuthorsWay.com takes no responsibility for anyone under the age of 18 accessing the content on the website without obtaining the relevant authorisation form a parent or guardian.

15. Licence for website access
AnAuthorsWay.com grants you a limited licence to access and make personal use of this website. Members and visitors agree not to copy, reproduce, modify, or otherwise adapt the site or any portion of it, nor to create derivative works from, distribute or publicly display, or permit others to display, any content which isn’t permitted, including content from the review exchange process, except with the express written consent of AnAuthorsWay.com .com. Pricing for services is subject to review from time to time.
