Eliza Peters

Eliza Peters was born in the northern town of Manchester, England in July 1972. She was a very shy child and became a very moody teenager, but then she met and married Pete in August 1998 and had two beautiful children.

Determined to be a perfect mother, she left full time employment in a very boring office to become a stay at home mum. Whilst it was a role she loved she needed something to keep her brain from shutting down and started writing in the little spare time she had. It was just a hobby at first, but as her children grew older and needed her a little less, there was more time to write.

She was always a fan of Stephen King and Dean Koontz when she was younger, so she knew she wanted to write something of the supernatural kind. She also enjoyed reading young adult fiction too, even into her adult life, as her teenage niece was always passing her good books to read. She enjoyed this genre of writing because it seemed so fresh and straight to the point and none of this three pages to describe a room nonsense (she is also impatient).

The keys To The Kingdom series, Harry Potter and The Hunger Games being among her favourites. Eliza is also heavily influenced by the indie rock music she loves. So, she found her style, she found her genre and as the washing pile festered for a few more hours, Hannah Brown was born and before she knew it she had completed her first novel; The Hannah Brown Diaries - Ghost, published Jan 2013.

Eliza only intended to write one novel, but quickly realised that Hannah’s story had only just begun and wondered if she was capable of writing a second novel. Eliza is currently writing The Hannah Brown Diaries - Angel and will be followed by a third book, Demon.
